How we review crypto casinos for Canadian players
Most casino reviews are written from the bonus banner down. Ours start from the money: how a Canadian actually gets funds in, and more importantly, how reliably they come back out. Everything else hangs off that.
What our data is, and is not
We read each casino's own terms and conditions, bonus rules, and payment pages directly, and we keep dated source records for every fact we publish. Payout speeds and KYC experiences come from real user reports: Trustpilot reviews, casino.guru complaint files, Reddit and forum threads. We label them as user reports, because that is what they are.
We do not claim to have staff-tested every withdrawal from a Canadian wallet. Reviews that pretend otherwise are marketing. Where we have not verified something, the review says "not disclosed" instead of guessing. Terms change, so we re-check the load-bearing facts on a rolling basis and note the month of the last check on each review.
The weights behind every score
| Factor | Weight | What we check |
|---|---|---|
| Banking & payouts | 25% | Coins and networks, the Interac path from CAD, minimums in CAD terms, user-reported withdrawal times, limits, fee reality |
| Provincial access, trust & licence | 25% | Ontario status in the actual terms, licence jurisdiction and holder, years operating, complaint history with Canadian players |
| Bonus fairness | 15% | Value after wagering, max-bet clauses, game contribution, expiry windows, whether Canadians are even eligible |
| Games & usability | 15% | Provider quality, provably fair titles, sportsbook depth including NHL and CFL, mobile performance |
| Support & player protection | 10% | Live chat reality, English and French support, responsible gambling tools |
| Canadian extras | 10% | CAD display, French language, hybrid Interac options, community reputation among Canadian players |
How we make money
A few casinos pay us a commission when readers sign up through our links; most of the sites we cover pay us nothing. The paying set is listed openly in the affiliate disclosure. Rankings are set by the weights above before any commercial consideration, and negative findings stay in the review either way. That includes findings that hurt our own picks, like restricted-country clauses that sit awkwardly beside CAD bonus marketing.
The line we will not cross
No invented ratings, no fake test timings, no "guaranteed payouts", and no pretending offshore sites carry protections they do not have. These casinos are not registered with AGCO or iGaming Ontario, and no provincial regulator will help you in a dispute with one. That sentence appears on every review because it is true on every review.
You must be 19 or older to gamble in most provinces, 18 in Alberta, Manitoba, and Quebec. If gambling stops being fun: ConnexOntario 1-866-531-2600, or the resources on our responsible gambling page.
